The History of Our Club

In 1992, a small but dedicated group of Paint & Pinto Horse owners formed the Eastern Ontario Paint & Pinto Club. The club started with 19 members and one show per year, which was held in Williamstown at the fairgrounds. By 2001 our membership had grown to over 122 members, including members from Quebec and the United States.

In 1997, the club obtained a charter with the American Paint Horse Association (A.P.H.A.). The club then became the Eastern Ontario Paint Horse Club (E.O.P.H.C.). The purpose of the club is to promote the Paint horse, showcasing not only their beauty, but also their versatility.

From 1998 until 2006 the club hosted shows in Cardinal, Vankleek Hill, Williamstown, Kemptville, Richmond and Carp.

In 2008 we will host another show, details will be announced as they are confirmed.
